Welcome to South House Farms

 South House Farms is located in Northeastern Missouri. We recently moved onto 80 acres near Queen City, Missouri.  We have Basenji dogs, horses, Miniature Jersey cows, fish, and a Bengal cat. We do not raise a large number of animals since we prefer to have quality over quantity. All of our animals are used to their full potential - cows get milked, horses get ridden, dogs are shown and great pets, and the cat is the ultimate pet and hunter. The dogs we do have are from responsible breeders where temperament and health have tremendous bearing on the breeding programs. We do occasionally have Basenji puppies available.

The name South House comes from our last name Sorhus ( Sørhus) which means South House in Norwegian.

Dogs
Come in and see our  Basenjis .  Our dogs are pets first and foremost, but we also compete in the conformation and obedience ring. We occasionally have puppies.  Miniature Jerseys	Horses
	Currently we have a Fjord mare, Quarter gelding, and pony for our son.
	Fish
	We keep and breed Mpibwe Frontosas and Bristlenose plecostomas. We enjoy the fish very much.
	Bengal Cat We have a Bengal cat named Asia. She is a brown spotted girl.
