I run a small herd of production Dorper sheep. They are not registered or entirely pure, but produce a short, muscular lamb with a fine grained and mild flavored meat. My herd is selected for growth and mothering rather then color, so I have a lot of color variation to my little group. These are hair sheep that do not need to be sheared and are low maintenance in general. My ewes are quite friendly and come running when I call. |
